So don’t be intimidated when someone suggests adding a baby room wall mural to your room design and especially don’t be intimidated if a friend or family member has a great looking mural in their baby’s room. Because with just a little effort and maybe a little patience you can add a great looking wall mural to your baby’s room also.

Also they come in a variety of scenes from animals to popular cartoon characters to castles, clouds, flowers and more.

It’s really that easy to do! And once you do it you’ll start considering adding murals to other rooms in your home, like a basement game room or even your master bedroom. But for now let’s concentrate on a Room Mural for Baby’s Nursery Room.

How To Add Baby Room Murals
To Your Nursery Walls

It really is as easy as I mentioned above but lets go into a little further detail on a few popular ways of adding a mural to your wall without being stressed out.

  1. Purchase a Wall Mural Kit – Yes you can do this and they’re pretty simply to use. They usually come with a pattern, transfer paper, instructions and a color guide for final painting. They don’t usually come with the paints, but you can pick those up at any local arts and crafts store. And the best paint to use is acrylic craft paint. Of course this would be in the instructions.
  2. Project Your Own – You can even find a picture that you’d like to turn into a wall mural. You’ll need to transfer it over to a transparency paper and then get an overhead projector, either borrow one or rent one from a library, crafts store or office store. Then simply project your image on your wall and depending on how big you’d like the mural simply move the projector closer or further away from the wall.

  3. Hire A Professional Painter– Believe it or not there are professional mural painters around and probably in your area. They’ll cost more but should do a great job, just make sure to ask for references and photos of the work they’ve done.
  4. Purchase From Store – This is a really easy way to get a mural up onto your wall, simply purchase it from the store. They come in a variety of sizes usually 4 to 6 feet high by 6 to 12 feet wide. Also some online sites will let you choose your own wall dimensions that way you can fill up the whole wall. And some let you send in or upload a photo that you’d like turned into a mural. But they require that the size of the photo you upload be pretty large, but not a hard thing to do if you have a digital camera.

Baby Room Murals are a fun way to decorate baby’s nursery room. Give it a try and you’ll probably amaze yourself. You don’t have to be an artist to add a mural either, if you can paint by number then you’re really set to go, it’s just a matter of choosing the mural you want to paint and finding the time.
